Cocoa
Speech-Language Pathologist
Cocoa received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT. After leaving New England for a warmer climate, she and her husband moved to San Diego and started a family. Cocoa has been an SLP for over 10 years now. Her experience includes early intervention, home based services, school based services, private practice serving clients up to 21 years of age, and teletherapy across all ages. One of her favorite things about being an SLP is forming a connection with children and their families. Cocoa’s own family is always her motivation and inspiration for providing family-centered care. She incorporates play into therapy whenever possible, and also enjoys working on social language and pragmatics with kids of all ages. When she’s not working with children and families, you can find
her at the beach, on a hike, or scootering with her husband and her two kids.
