Laura received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kansas State University and her Speech Language Pathologist Assistant License from California State University, Chico. She has experience working with children from 20 months to 14 years of age, having worked in both a school setting and a private clinic during her time as a registered behavior technician (RBT). Laura loves creativity, and threads it into her therapy whenever possible. Taking a play-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach, she feels it’s important to build a rapport and adapt to each client to better facilitate and improve their skills in a more natural context. 

 

When not in the clinic, you’ll most likely find Laura outside, running along the coast, traveling with her husband, or spending time with friends.
